Campsite Rules

Arrival, Departure, and Payment:

  • To ensure we know who is on the premises, every guest, visitor, or interested party must register immediately upon entering the site.

  • The pitch must be vacated and paid for by 12:00 PM on the day of departure. Anyone who has not paid or left the pitch by 12:00 PM (without prior permission) will be charged an additional day's fee.

 

Site Rules:

  • Every camping guest is responsible for keeping their rented pitch and the immediate surrounding area clean.

  • When vacating the pitch, all tent pegs and used stones must be removed from the area.

  • Please park your car on your own pitch or in our designated parking area. Using another guest's pitch is not allowed.

  • Smoking is prohibited in all buildings!

Rules for Vehicle Traffic:

  • On the premises, vehicles may only be driven at walking speed (max. 5 km/h).

  • Vehicles are not permitted to move on the campsite between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

  • If you wish to leave the campsite after 10:00 PM, we kindly ask you to park your vehicle on our external parking area beforehand.

  • If you return to the campsite during the night, your vehicle must also be parked on the external parking area.

 

Quiet Hours – Noise Restrictions:

Since the majority of our guests specifically seek peace, we ask all guests to adhere to the following rules:

  • Artificially generated continuous noise, such as from radios or televisions, should not be audible outside your pitch. This is especially important during the night!

  • We emphasise maintaining quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Barbecuing:

  • Barbecuing with charcoal or, even better, with gas is allowed.

  • The grill must be placed approximately 20 cm above the ground.

  • Do not dispose of ashes in the embankment; please use the designated waste bin.

  • Open fires (e.g., campfires with wood) are not permitted.

Barbecue Hut:

  • Our barbecue hut is located near the playground.

  • Please inform the reception in advance if you wish to use it. It is only available to guests staying on the premises.

  • No (wood) fires are allowed inside the barbecue hut.

​

Playground:

  • The playground is exclusively for children up to 16 years old.

  • Children under 6 years old may only use the playground under adult supervision.

Waste Separation:

  • We separate paper, cans & plastic, glass, and general waste.

  • Please do not leave any trash (even small items like ice cream wrappers or cigarette butts) on the ground.

  • Bulky waste must not be disposed of with regular waste or on the premises!

  • The disposal of bulky waste will be charged to the guest.

  • Waste should be disposed of before 10:00 PM.

Raccoons / Foxes:

  • Do not feed raccoons or foxes. For this reason, please dispose of general waste before 10:00 PM.

  • Store food and shoes securely, for example, in your car.

​

Water:

  • Please use water, especially hot water, responsibly and avoid wasting it!

  • Our decision not to use coin-operated meters can only be maintained if everyone uses water conscientiously.

Dog Rules:

Dogs are warmly welcome here, regardless of breed or size. To ensure it stays this way, we kindly ask you to follow a few rules:

  • Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times on the premises, including in the waterfront area and on the playground.

  • Dogs are not allowed on the playground, except for passing through.

  • Dogs are not permitted inside the sanitary facilities.

  • Dogs should be taken for walks outside the campsite.

  • Any mess or waste left by your dog must be cleaned up immediately by the owner. This applies to the entire campsite and the external parking area.

  • Dog waste bags are available free of charge at the reception.

Waterfront Area:

  • Swimming is allowed but at your own risk.

  • The waterfront area is not supervised. Therefore, children should not play or swim there unsupervised.

  • SUPs (Stand-Up Paddles), inflatable boats, mattresses, and similar swimming equipment are only tolerated by the Harzwasserwerke (local water authority). These must be removed from the waterfront area after use.

Fishing:

  • Fishing is only permitted in a specific, designated area on the campsite. This area is called the "Anglerwiese" (Fishing Meadow) and is exclusively accessible to our camping guests.

  • Fishing permits can be purchased at the tourist information office.

  • Fishing is only allowed from fixed boats. Inflatable boats may be used but not for fishing.

  • Anglers who are not guests of the campsite are not allowed to fish on the premises and must conduct their activities outside the campsite.

Trees and Plants:

  • We kindly ask you to respect the trees and plants on the premises.

  • It is prohibited to drive nails into trees or tie wire around them.

​

Right of Admission:

The Kroes family, in exercising their right of admission, reserves the right to refuse entry to individuals or ask guests to leave if they deem it necessary to maintain order, safety, or peace on the campsite, or to ensure the careful treatment of the environment.
